Cathode Material
Cathode material is one of the key materials to determine the performance of lithium-ion batteries, and it is also the main source of lithium ions in commercial lithium-ion batteries. At present, the main cathode materials successfully developed and applied are lithium cobaltate, lithium iron phosphate (LFP), lithium manganate, ternary materials lithium nickel-cobalt-manganate (NCM) and lithium nickel-cobalt-aluminate (NCA). LFP is the most popular cathode materials now. Its main characteristics are low cost, very high safety, and high cycle life, which make lithium iron phosphate materials quickly become a research hotspot, and lithium iron phosphate batteries have also been widely used in the field of electric vehicles. Here we mainly introduce the solution for making LFP.
